Follow the firefly or rabbit in this wordless picture book, that can be read in both directions, by Portuguese illustrator Bernard Carvalho. Children can follow the little firefly in these lush watercolour illustrations as it makes its way through the forest at night, passing all the different animals casting a flash of light as it continues on its way.
Reading back to front, follow the white rabbit in Run Rabbit Run! as it escapes from its cage leaping over animals and people hurrying away, eventually finding its way to the forest.
The contrasting sizes of the different animals in the illustrations help to create a sense of perspective and the variations in colour mean that a child will need to look on every page very carefully to see where the firefly or rabbit are as they sometimes turn up in the most unlikely places!
